Bi-weekly Seminar: Students Sharing Salon

In today’s bi-weekly online seminar, students who have been studying in American high schools for a few years shared their own experiences and reflections about studying in the US. This provided precious advice and constructive information for other students who are going to pursue future study abroad.

The seminar was like a sharing salon, where current students and prospective students had full communications and pleasant interactions focused on practical issues of studying abroad. Based on personal experiences, current American high school students talked about distinguishing studying and living atmospheres in different schools and cities, making friends with local students and psychological development.

During the seminar, prospective students raised questions about the different learning approaches between Chinese and American schools, getting on well with classmates/roommates from various cultural background, and preparations for colleges application. For these concerns, students from American high schools provided detailed explanations and shared helpful suggestions.
