Essay Workshop for DIY students

Last week, KCG run an Essay Workshop for DIY students. The Workshop was taught by KCG’s senior adviser Mr. Jim Wang and Mr. Kent Xu. It covered 7 typical prompts from top 30 universities of USA. Firstly, advisers gave lectures and general guidelines to students on how to analyze the essay prompts and how to draft high quality essays. Additionally, the training program has included sharing of many real samples from KCG and some published books on college essay. DIY students shared their stories and brainstormed with teachers on drafting their essay. For each lesson, DIY students wrote their essay and teachers made proofreading and revision comments. At the end, DIY students walked out with satisfied essay drafts as building blocks for their incoming formal college essays preparations.
