MIT Alumni Annual General Meeting

Every two years, MIT Alumni Hong Kong Club will hold Annual General Meeting to summarize activities in the past two years and elect president and board members for the club in the next two years. This year the event was well attended with full registered 74 alumni. To make the meeting more significant, the Hong Kong Club has invited the Dean of School of Humanities of MIT, Mrs. Deborah Fitzgerald, to participate the meeting. Dean Deborah Fitzgerald briefed the progress of MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MITIS) China projects and launched the Greater China Clubs Fund for MISTI China. Fellow Club Advisor Chi-Won Yoon (CEO of UBC Group Asia Pacific) gave a speech about the status of banking and his thoughts on the future of banking. All the heads of alumni clubs in Shanghai, Beijing and South China have joined this grand gathering.
