Interview from Cornell for an ED Applicant

On Nov. 11th, one KCG student who applied for Cornell University under ED attended the interview offered by a Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador.

This student submitted his application on Oct. 30th, and his documents are now being viewed by the Cornell Admissions Committee according to his application status. On Nov. 9th, Friday, the student received a meeting invitation sent from an Ambassador and agreed to attend the meeting on Nov. 11th, Sunday.

Although the Ambassador claimed that the meeting was informational, KCG considered it as a significant opportunity to present the personal quality, features and fitness to the Committee. To that end, KCG initiated an emergency conference over the weekend, involving an adviser to provide intensive training for the interview. In addition, KCG also helped with several rounds of mock up based on Internet just a few hours before the interview.

According to the student, the interview was friendly and smoothly. Thanks to the comprehensive preparation, the student was quite confident in terms of talking and behavior. KCG hopes this interview may add more odds to his admission of Cornell University.
